Namib Hoodia (Hoodia currorii) "has remarkable appetite-reducing qualities," they say, and no wonder. Who could eat with that staring at them? About 3 feet tall, and the flowers can reach a hand's breadth in size, but (unfortunately) smell like carrion, in order to attract pollinators like flies. Definitely an appetite suppressant!
