Opinions on this dog. What do you like and dislike. What do you expect this dog to produce or what has it produced. If you owned this dog what would it be used to improve in your breeding program ect.

I don't know the dog, personally. I was interested in a daughter, of the M litter Aritar Bastet, but passed on her because the owner said she was not at all suited for protection work. I was bummed, because I liked her quite a bit. I'd met a littermate who I liked a lot and health checks were outstanding as well. The dog had great temperament.  I know of another M litter pup who was imported for police type work, I believe, did not suit that, and was sold to a home where he is doing quite well in a sport/working capacity. I guess I'd ask you what you want out of a dog and you may get more responses. Lots of variables- what she produced with one sire may be very different than what she produced with a different sire. Hope that helps a tiny bit.

Thank you Jenn for your information. The reason I didn't put a male down is because I'm not sure of the future breeding plans with her. I am however grateful for your response.

Are you looking to purchase a puppy from her then and not sure what male she's going to be bred to? Or are you looking to purchase her??? I have no idea how old she is- I haven't looked- just trying to understand so I could possibly answer a bit less vaguely.

I maybe thinking of buying a pup from her. Just waiting for her to be bred to the right male. I may keep looking depending on how sporty were talking.

I'm sorry. I don't know enough about the parents of the M litter to say where I think certain traits are coming from. As I said, I've only seen one in the flesh. Very nice. I would choose a pup from her (IF the one I've seen is indicative of what she produces) if I wanted a nice dog w/good balance and who was very social. I would not choose her if I wanted a very strong, hard, more aloof dog with a lot of aggression. But hey, how do we know the dog I saw isn't a clone of his sire and not at all what Bea typically produces? Regular Smile

There is another male from that M litter in America that definitely could be police candidate.....having said that I think the sire she is used with is very important in type dog she produces. She has definitely produced some strong males with certain sires.

Hi i am new to this forum i have some knowledge on GSD's but definatly have a lot to learn. I have set back and read a lot on this forum. I saw your interest in Bea little dahlia.

I dont know much about this particular female but i have been dealing with this breeder and he is excellent his name is Zbynek Divis i learned about him from Gustav and later found out that the trainer/owner of my schutzhund club trained with Zbynek here in north carolina his name is Richard Shook a great trainer and has good knowledge on the breed. Richard actually has a puppy right now from Zbynek from a different female Jawa Aritar Bastet and he loves his male puppy. Zbynek is waiting to confirm a preganancy he has right now with Jawa Aritar Bastet X Bruno Vom Flusenpark. You can watch videos on workingdog.eu of Bruno vom flusenpark. He seems to be an excellent male. Im sure any dog you get from Aritar Bastet will make you happy from what i hear. But like i said i do not know much about Bea Little Dahlia but Richard seems very happy with his pup from Jawa Aritar Bastet. Maybe before you made a decision take Jawa A.B into consideration.
