This beautiful, small Lycaste species is native to Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras and El Salvador. It is a spring bloomer and has the fragrance of cinnamon with a hint of nutmeg. These lose their leaves in winter so keep the plants drier at the roots during winter watering maybe every 2-3 weeks with no fertilizer. The plan e offered are divisions of our highly fragrant clone called ‘Cinnamon and Spice’ the last photo is of the actual plants with flowers just starting to open as of 6/9/2023.
