This is an 80's era jungle collected L. anceps specimen plant. Currently (8/13/14) is hosting 12 spikes, two of which are in flower. It looks like the rest of the spikes will bloom early September. This plant has a tight growth habit with shorter flower spikes (measuring about 3 feet each).
A four or five growth plant would take about 6 to 10 years to reach this size. Currently growing in a 12" square teak basket. The plant mass measures about 3.5 x 2.5 feet across.
