Common Name The Shagy Goodyera

Flower Size 1/8" [3mm]

Found as a miniature to small sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial, lithophyte or epiphyte in rock crevasses in Assam, Eastern Himalayas, India, Bhutan, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam in lowland, broadleaf evergreen forests at elevations of 150 to 2200 meters in deep shade and high humidity with 6 to 8 basal, subsessile, ovate-lanceolate, acuminate leaves and blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, 4" [10 cm] long, spicate, hispidly glandular, twisted above inflorescence with bracts that are shorter than the many small, white flowers.
