Inflorescences measure 40 cm and bear 4-8 flowers that measure 10 cm across. Plants bloom during the winter months.

This plant is flowering size and is growing in a pot. Grow Coelogyne mooreana in a pot with fine bark mixed with moss and perlite. Grow plants in moderate shade or moderate light, and never in direct or bright sunlight. Plants do not like to dry out and need excellent quality water all year. Plants grow well in an intermediate greenhouse or large paludarium and appreciate night-time temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees and daytime temperatures of 24 to 30 degrees.
