The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. Location is unbeatable and a little bit back from the main roads so you don't get city noise. Breakfast is varied from full English to get a roll and a little jam. If you stay for a few days and put a sign on your door you don't need cleaning, they offer to plant a tree and give you a voucher for a free glass of wine. Bar is simple but nice. One day I wanted a light lunch and got their potato soup. I'll definitely go their again and check out their other locations.
The hotel was beautiful, great location close to everything. The bar and bartender were both great. Lara at the front desk when we checked in was super nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. I did not like the construction outside our hotel, the rooms in front of the hotel like ours 105 was subject to very loud noises starting at maybe 6 am, it's hard to sleep with all the noise. I did not like the tourist tax, why can't you just work that into the bill? Why can't you ask for that when I checked in. The lady we dealt with this morning I could have done without, she was not wearing her name tag, So I don't know who she was was. She was helping two customers check in and then started talking over them to tell me I needed to pay 7 euros for a tourist tax. After spending over 300$ in your hotel for a day in a half, it was tacky to add 7 euros.

They call themselves 4 stars. It is not a 4 star hotel. I would just call it a 2/3 star hotel. It is merely a bare bones hotel. First, the inside, and the lobby area, and the decoration is old and ugly. And the hallways are sooo hot. They may only have AC inside the bedrooms. Plus, the entrance has a bunch of steps you have to go up to go to the reception. It is a feat to get through all of them when you have luggage. So not very convenient at all upon arrival or even at departure. They don’t have anybody at the door to help you with your luggage. A real four star would have somebody there ready to help you with the luggage. Also, housekeeping is not great either. They were pretty careless in making the bed. I had asked for an extra bed sheet in addition to the quilt that’s on the bed, and the way they made the bed afterwards was rather slovenly, lopsided and wrinkly as if they didn’t care. I had to point it to the reception desk. Their classic room was terrible. It was almost as small as a jail cell and then it was really dark at night. There wasn’t even a lamp on the desk. Very depressing. Plus, the vent was almost right above the bed and the AC was blowing directly on my face and head all night long (almost made me fall sick). I had a horrible night sleep, so I complained about it and they did move me to another room with the vent on the side. So the room was a little better and a tad bigger. But that first room was terrible.
Staff couldn’t have been more lovely! We loved everything about this hotel and would definitely come back.

Asked about possibility of room change and staff unwilling even to consider. Basic bathroom supplies were not renewed for three days, and, again, desk staff were unresponsive. Said that hotel was full, basically as reason not to bother them. Expected much better from other reviews. Would not stay there again. Sorry, but there are alternatives.
Hotel is clean and comfortable. Small problem with our sink draining (I find that happens a lot in hotels). Our room has no view. But it is tucked away very close to Museum Quarter. We had no wash cloths in our room and one staff member had no idea what they were (I looked for translation on google but that didn't seem to help). However, another staffer knew immediately what we needed and provided them.
