Horrible stay. This hotel is location on a busy street and an old property with old windows. It’s noisy and terrible. The busy street and party on the “patio” area will prevent you from resting. Stayed here the night before a fishing trip and was not able to sleep beforehand which in turn, ruined my fishing trip.

Great location. Room was nice size and clean

Hotel was decent value for the price we paid. Location in Newport was between downtown and beach and the room was just fine for our 2 nights. Parking free was nice. A bit outdated and our room was hot but clean upon entry.

Front desk staff was super helpful. Room was very comfortable.

What was unique about the property was their total lack of customer service

Small, but clean. Staff very helpful. Very close to the beach and near lots of eating establishments.

Ni e ambiance , location ,price ok ,clean yyyyyyyyyyyu

CLEAN AND GREAT LOCATION. wE WILL BE BACK AGAIN SOON

This little inn is very clean. It’s location is very convenient to all things Newport/Balboa, but that also makes it very noisy (especially late at night). Our room was small, but more than adequate for our overnight stay. We will go back.

The name is cute, but badically it is a motel. Clse yo the beach, and good for surfers.

The rooms were very nice and clean and staff was friendly. They have bikes you can use to ride along the beach. They let me put 100 dollars in cash for the deposit and gave it right back at checkout. Nice Mexican food restaurant across the street! The bike use is complimentary!

I picked this hotel based on my evening plans so I could walk alone. I felt safe at night and the streets were well lit. The rooms were clean. My only complaint was that the shower wasn't that nice and the complimentary shampoo and body wash was not nice. I would recommend bringing your own.

Hotel staff was awesome. Very good people. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but loved the place.

The inn is nestled in the heart of NewportBeach with walking distance to many restaurants and amenities.

We arrived somewhat early, and they didn't mind it... We brought our bikes and found it difficult to find a place to store them because there were many (out of commission) bikes there. Some bikes had flats, others with broken seat. This is the third time we have stayed, and the same bikes are still there. One other critique is the Inn's proximity to the streets surrounding it... The cars driving through is a constant sound and But, thankfully each room is equipped with soundproof windows for a pleasant stay.... The staff is kind, respectful and happy to see guests. The time spent at Little In by the Bay was restful and recharging.

By far, the best place I stayed all week! And it was the cheapest! Loved it! Whenever I'm in Newport again, this is the ONLY place I'll stay!

It is a VERY BASIC room with not much inside. The air conditioning did not work.

I picked this hotel for its location and price - and those needs were met. That being said, the room we had was very small - about 2 ft around the queen bed was it, plus the bathroom and a small closet. But, all the room amenities promised were there - fridge, microwave, nice flat panel TV, etc. The decor was was very nice - recently remodeled. The location was great. Beach, harbor, and restaurants nearby, and an easy route off the Newport Peninsula. The main issue was noise. The hotel sits between the north and south-bound sections of Newport Blvd, the main street of town. Our room was 12 ft from traffic lanes. Our visit had us in town for Spring Break - lots of partys and loud talking late into the night. A good nights sleep was difficult. Recommendation with caveats.

They are going through a major renovation. The place is NOT where like a Hilton, it is basic a very soft bed, nice bathroom, without hanging facilities for clothes! They went out of their way to helpake the trip comfortable for us. Forget the newspaper or breakfast, it might as well have been non existant.I would place this hotel a step above a motel 6 but not by much. Close to everything and the room we had was quiet. If you are looking for a place with the basics, then this is for you.
