Very good if you travel with kids.
A wonderful off strip location conveniently located to transit system. Very quiet and well maintained. We were pleasantly surprised
Don’t feel like you’re in Vegas but everything is in walking distance.
The landscape
Convenient location, easy parking, friendly staff. Property is a little older and has undoubtedly seen quite a few guests come through over the years
Pros: Room layout & configuration. Swimming pool & activities (disco night, dj, ping pong, etc.) Staff was very responsive. BBQ utensils cleaned by front desk. Centrally located close to LV Blvd Cons: There wasn't a designated place to put garbage on the 3rd floor or in building #3. Dishwasher was old and did not clean dishes. Elevator possibly needs maintenance (bulb out on 3rd floor down button), kind of clanky transitioning from floor to floor. Overall we would stay again but in a different room with functioning dishwasher.
That it’s really near to the shopping blvd it’s clean, the staff very nice , super recomendable
Staff was excellent. Very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Excellent location
We chose The Desert Rose Resort because it was right next door to MGM Grand & Tropicana; And because we got a 2 bedroom suite for same price as one room with 2 Queen beds at either MGM or Tropicana. Place was clean and comfortable. So nice to have two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Also had a small kitchenette. So great for families trying to save money on meals. There is a heated pool which we did not use, but saw families enjoying. No gambling on site, which means place is low key, mellow. Our trip was during Spring Break season but hotel generally quiet. There is a bar open limited hours at night but No rowdy groups while we we there. No restaurant on site, but we walked next door to Tropicana or MGM for most meals. For farther destinations used Uber. Typically brought leftovers back to hotel, to warm up on stove or in microwave. Used coffee pot for morning coffee. Overall a wonderful, low key, quiet, clean place at great price ( compared to the big name casino-resorts next door)
The front desk was fine. Don't get the welcome packet or answer the phone. It's the annoying timeshare marketing people that don't understand No. First it was an AMX card for $125 then it was 7 nights free anywhere in the world. Google Wyndham timeshare lawsuit
Based on photos and reviews we thought this "resort" would be fantastic. Certainly not as nice as pictured..in fact I would say the photos were of a different property or doctored. Amenities were lacking, coffee in the room was terrible.
Great place to stay, close to the strip and great service
Great off strip location, very clean, friendly staff
Very helpful employees. When we arrive the staff helped us unload our luggage and take it to our room. Raymond who is one of the staff said if we need anything else to let him know.
