These Winnie the Pooh face masks are far from cute.
The “relaxation mask,” as it’s called, seems innocent enough, but users quickly pointed out that drawing a face onto a mask and then placing it onto your actual face comes with horrifying results.
Each mask is included inside child-friendly packaging featuring an adorable cartoon drawing of the lovable bear. And as Twitter users quickly realized, wearing the mask will not make you loveable.
“I think Eeyore just killed himself out of sheer terror,” a commenter on Imgur wrote.
“These masks are amazing,” a Reddit user shared. “They make your skin super soft and scare your family all within the span of twenty minutes.”
It seems the masks are only available in Japan, but that hasn’t stopped people all over the world from weighing in on the bizarre item.
“10/10 would stab in the chest,” one Reddit user wrote.
“If Hannibal Lecter were going out on Purge night, this is the mask he would wear,” Average Guy Greg wrote.
Another said, “It looks like a B-movie horror monster!”
Several users were quick to point out that the printed masks were similar to Snapchat’s face swap feature.
Either way, it ends up looking like Pooh was too deep in the honey pot.
