| Fruit | Yellow-orange to red-orange fruits are ellipsoid to ovoid-ellipsoid (an intermediate shape between a rugby ball and an egg). They are 3.5-4.3 cm long and 2.3-2.9 cm wide. The fruit is divided into 4-5 segments and has 5-6 seeds. |
| Cultivation | It is sensitive to zinc deficiency, producing smaller leaves and shorter internodes (length of stem between leaves) when zinc is lacking. It can be grown indoors if placed in a bright sunny location. |
| Ethnobotanical Uses | Edible Plant Parts : Edible Fruits Food (Fruit & Vegetable): The entire fruit including the rind is consumed fresh or pickled and sometimes added to salads.
