ABOUT

If one weekend of incredibly scenic, adrenaline-inducing routes isn’t enough for you, our week-long Brenta Dolomites tour is just what you’re looking for. In this tour, we link routes together for a multi-day, high-altitude climbing experience you'll never forget.

Our itinerary takes you around the Brenta Group, via the most famous high-altitude route of all the Dolomites. The famous Via delle Bocchette is an extensive network of protected climbing routes covering the whole massif. Crossing high narrow ledges allows inexperienced climbers to enjoy the mountains, experiencing thrilling alpine scenery first-hand.

In this multi-day activity you will have the opportunity to fully experience the Dolomites. Sleeping in the mountain huts (a different one each night!), savouring the full taste of the mountains and that clean mountain air, you’ll get to know and experience the true culture of Italian mountaineering.

ITINERARY

Welcome to Italy! Shortly after arriving at the airport you will be picked up by our transport and driven to the accommodation.

Once there, we’ll hold an initial briefing to introduce the team, go over the week’s plan and do an equipment/clothing check. There’ll be opportunity for questions followed by free time and dinner.

Our route today will be the Via Ferrata Benini, a popular panoramic route stretching from the Grostè pass (2442m) to Tuckett Hut (2270m).

This is a 5h long itinerary, divided into 3hrs of hiking, and 2hrs of Via Ferrata. Difficulty: medium, with long exposed sections. In the morning, we’ll take the cable car to the Grostè pass to start the activity. We'll eat packed lunch on the go. The day will end at the Tuckett Hut, where we’ll hold a debrief to discuss what we've achieved and the plan for tomorrow.

Our route for today will be the magnificent Via Ferrata delle Bocchette Alte, from Tuckett Hut (2270m) to Alimonta Hut (2587m).

This is a 7hrs long itinerary divided into 3hrs of hiking and 4hrs of Via Ferrata. Difficulty: medium, with long exposed sections. After an early breakfast at the hut, we’ll tackle the highest via Ferrata in the Brenta group. Through steep stairs and long exposed ledges we will reach the highest point of the route (3020m), then descend towards the Alimonta hut for a debrief and dinner.

Today’s route is the Via Ferrata delle Bocchette Centrali, from Alimonta Hut (2587m) to Agostini Hut.

This is a 7hrs long itinerary divided into 3hrs of Via Ferrata and 4hrs hiking. Difficulty: medium, with long exposed sections. This is possibly the most famous via ferrata trek in the Dolomites, definitely one of the most scenic, and takes you to see some of the best views in the Alps.

Today we’ll leave Agostini Hut behind us and walk along the magnificent "Sentiero Brentari".

This via Ferrata is located in one of the wildest areas of the Brenta Group overlooking the 'Bocca D'Ambiez'. We will make a stop at Rifugio Pedrotti before carrying on towards our final destination: Brentei Hut.

Today’s route is called the Ferrata Sosat, from Brentei Hut (2178m) to Vallesinella Hut ( 1500m ) via Tuckett Hut.

It is a lower-level route in the Brenta Dolomites, and not as long, committing, or exposed as some of the other routes we’ve done so far. This is a 5hrs long itinerary, with 2hrs of Via Ferrata and 3hrs of hiking. This route connects the Brentei Refuge to the Tuckett Refuge by going around the western spurs of the Punte di Campiglio. It is not particularly difficult, except for two very long ladders that allow you to get past the dark canyon which comes down from the peak. Most of the rest of the route is simply hiking.

This is the ‘easy day’, but with another beautiful view. After the via Ferrata we’ll reach the Tuckett Refuge and get lunch. Packed lunch will also be an option. After lunch we go down to Vallesinella, passing through the spectacular Vallesinella waterfalls. At Vallesinella Hut, the transfer will bring us back to the accommodation.

After breakfast it’s time to say goodbye to the impressive Brenta Dolomites. The transfer will take you back to the airport for your flight home.
