Description
Native to Central Asia, especially in the Pamir-Alay Mountains and north-eastern Afghanistan, on barren and dry hills. The almost purplish-black, bell-shaped flowers, up to 20 in the flower cluster, appear in April. The slender, blue-green leaves lie flat on the ground.
