Hold tight, let me explain. It's a known fact that the 44th President of the United States is a big Chicago White Sox fan. The same goes for the Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls.
But before he repped the White Sox, he actually rooted for the A's.

"I didn't become a Sox fan until I moved to Chicago," Obama said back in 2010. "I was growing up in Hawaii, so I ended up actually being an Oakland A's fan."
Does Obama own an A's hat? Who was his favorite player growing up? Does he listen to Mac Dre? These are the questions we need to have answered.
Obama was born in Honolulu and went to the Punahou School before attending Columbia University. While in Hawaii, he also evidently rooted for the A's, which makes this Oakland-Chicago AL Wild Card Series so tough for him.

It's likely Obama is rooting for Chicago, where he moved two years after graduating from Columbia in the 1980s. But it's hard to turn your back on your favorite childhood team.
The A's and White Sox should give baseball fans everywhere a great series starting Monday. For Obama, the series could give him a few more gray hairs.
