Puya laxa
L.B.Sm.
Item Code: PN4318
In its genus it is one of the most attractive species, due to the delicate hairs that cover the epidermis making it resemble a kind of Tillandsia. The leaves are very rigid and fibrous, succulent and armed on the margins by small but dangerous hook spines. The very small flowers have a metallic cobalt blue color. It resists intense cold well and tolerates long periods of total drought.
