Description
Straight from the National Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) come six prominent wrestlers based on real-life ones at the time of the game’s release.
Gameplay features include basic punch and kick attacks, grappling, ground tackles, and the ability to taunt an opponent. A victory requires an opponent to be down for ten seconds. The game can be played in four modes:
- Title Match - The player earns the champion title by beating all the other five wrestlers, then indefinitely does rematches against them to retain the title.
- G1 Climax - The main event, which requires the chosen wrestler to beat the whole roster of five wrestlers one by one.
- Time Attack - Within a limited time, the player must beat an opponent in the fastest time possible.
- Training - Allows the player to try out moves of wrestlers without any restrictive rules.
