Features

The I7110 was Samsung’s tenth Symbian-based handset. It featured a five-megapixel camera, GPS, 3.6-Mbps HSDPA and Wi-Fi. The active-matrix OLED screen was brighter than traditional displays available at the time. It also had advanced camera functions such as a "blink shot" mode, which tries to overcome the problem of subjects blinking when they were illuminated by the LED flash. The phone was initially available in Russia from November 2008, and arrived in other markets later. The i7110 was arguably the peak of Samsung's commitment to the Symbian operating system. Its broad variety of Symbian smartphones using Nokia’s S60 user interface included the candy bar (I7110), slider (G810), music phone (i450) and imaging device (i8510 innov8).
