Colina da Fajã is a small country hotel that was built in the beginning of the 20^th century. This magnificent property has 9 rooms and all have fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and of the Atlantic Ocean. This is, without a doubt, a wonderful place and setting to relax and is a great starting point for hiking in the southwest of the island.

The Colina da Faja has a game room with a pool table, a reading room with fireplace, a small heated outdoor "borderless" pool with a look towards the Atlantic´s horizon, a bar with local wines and homemade liqueurs. You can also use the fully equipped kitchen to cook your own dinner.

All rooms of Colina da Faja are nicely decorated with light woods and with traditional Madeiran furniture. The Superior rooms are slightly larger. The rooms are equipped with satellite TV, heating, safe rental, telephone, internet access and bathroom / WC with hair dryer. The rooms have either a French balcony or shared terrace.

A Quiet country setting: the country house Colina da Faja is located on a hillside on the outskirts of the Faja da Ovelha village - at an altitude of approximately 500 meters - in the southwest of Madeira Island.
