What a great hotel this is. We loved the location. The little park across the road with the 3 kings and Christmas tree was lovely. Not too far from the beach and the old town. The tram station was only a 10 minute walk away so we visited Altea which was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were very grateful that they saved us some food as we arrived after the restaurant had closed. Very clean and well looked after. Our room was very nice and the beds were so comfortable. The food was delicious. Lots of choice and we got to try a few new things. We also had a packed lunch one of the days, which was great! My son loved the heated indoor pool, it was too cold for the outdoor one. We did find it very busy, which was the only negative really. The restaurant was very packed and quite noisy, but not a big problem. We would definitely stay there again.

“Good base for Old Town Exploring.”

We arrived on site, very quick check in, not much chat out of reception staff but it was quick and efficient and we were okay with that. The room was spotless, albeit a tad on the small side, it was just the 2 of us and more than adequate. 2 big mirrors, very comfy bed, you will need to ask for extra pillows and they are available upon request from reception. Balcony small but table and 2 chairs, with a wee drying rack attached to the wall. Blackout curtains and curtains were great, really effective. The shower is fab, very powerful, does tend to waiver in temperature a tad but not enough to freeze or roast you. Location of hotel - about 10 mins (slow walking) to the centre of Old town. Supermarket nearby and wee convenience stores even closer. We walked the the New town, easily done and not hilly or strenuous. Easy and very handy to get the Poniente Beach. Levante wasn't difficult to get too either, maybe a 15/20 mins walk max. Pool area - spotlessly clean Communal areas - spotlessly clean. Bar is cheap (coke zero and coffee was €3.50). Cleaners out every morning cleaning the rooms, changing towels making beds etc. Big up lighters from pool area come on at 9pm and went off midnight. Hence the blackout blinds being needed if you're in bed earlier. Music in the bar also stops around this time. Also, centred around the Spanish guests, but that didn't annoy us. My only major gripe, hence 4 stars, was the wall thickness. Goodness me - consider taking earplugs. The hotel as many other reviews state, has at least 85% occupancy rate of Spanish, older generation, and they do talk extremely loudly at 4am 🤦🏼‍♀️ didn't find them rude, they don't really smile or say hello when walking past, but they aren't ignorant.

We booked here for 6 nights recently. The hotel is really clean, room was clean and spacious. We had a room on the 6th floor. Food was always hot and always put out fresh. The restaurant was always busy so needed to be refreshed but this was always the case and very rarely not replaced unless it was late into the service and nearly finished. We went all inclusive and ai customers have a separate part of the bar to get drinks. Never a big queue to get drinks. The sign says only 1 drink but the staff were ok getting your partners etc. the snacks selection for all inclusive was a little poor and consisted of a nuts/savoury mix and crisps out of a big tub. Drinks were also fine. The maid downside to our stay was the majority of the other guests. The older Spanish guests. The majority of them are just rude. This involved looking you up and down and talking about you. Pushing in at reception, for food, and at the lift. There was the odd couple that would say Buenas Dias when getting in the lift etc. this may be different in the summer but the fact entertainment in the hotel always centres around the Spanish guests doing their line dancing even when there was a singer on! They were even at it in the park across the road every night with a billy portable speaker!

The hotel is lovely and spotlessly clean very spacious room..staff are very friendly and professional and always had a smile.. food was OK a bit repetitive but there was always something to eat.. breakfast was by far best meal.. cleaners did a fab job and work very hard.. now for the but.. this wasn't our first choice of hotels ours got cancelled so we was sent to this hotel..it was spanish run so 95% was spanish..never in my life have I met rude people like them.. they are very ignorant, look at you like dirt.. they see you coming for lift but still go up without you..they stare and whisper.. we always say grathias but I forgot once and said thank-you.. omg the spanish man waved his finger in my face saying no thank-you its grathias.. i said sorry grathias then..we tried smiling to loads but no response what so ever..its not the hotels fault.. we met 2 other couples who wasn't spanish and they said the same very very rude.. mobile scooter was an issue for the first few days..they was enough room for about 8 so when we went down and realised there was like 13/14 scooters in a tiny room any they unplug and move your scooter out the way.. we reported this to reception and we was shown to another room where I could charge it.. overall lovely clean hotel friendly staff ok food but if your English stay away..
