A gorgeous small wild Strawberry with the most delicious fruit!

This is an antique perennial German variety of Strawberry growing 15cm tall x 15cm wide with compact rosettes of bright green leaves that have 3 ovate, wrinkled, toothed leaflets and clusters of 5 petalled white flowers from late Spring to Summer, this variety rarely forms runners.

Small pointed and deliciously edible bright red fruit, up to 25mm in diameter from late Summer to Autumn, the fruits are sweet, tender and very flavourful. The first Strawberries can develop as quickly as 3 months after sowing but it is best to pinch off flowers for the first year to give plants time to establish and get stronger before producing fruit.

Best in well drained, moist fertile soil and grown in a part shade position or can be grown in full sun.

This is a great variety to plant in containers, garden beds, rockeries and borders and make a fantastic edible and ornamental addition to any garden.

This listing is for 30 fresh and premium quality seeds shipped on receipt of cleared funds.
