Pano Platres- a place of harmony with the world.

Platres or Pano Platres is a mountainous village in Cyprus. It is located on the southern slopes of the Troodos Mountains and is one of the wine village. Platres is the largest Troodos resort, situated about 5km from Troodos Square, 25 kilometers (16 mi) north-west of Limassol and 45 kilometers (28 mi) south-west of the capital Nicosia. Platres is a very old village and is mentioned among the 119 villages of the Limassol district that existed during the Lusignan Era (1192-1489 AD) and the Venetian Era (1489-1571 AD). Platres is the principal hill resort of Cyprus. Platres is truly considered the resting place of kings and poets. In the distant times when the British conquered Cyprus, they arranged in these places many residences and places of relaxation for nobles, scientists, writers and other creams of society. By the way, the village of Platres is the oldest in Cyprus, since references to it in written sources date back to the 11-14th centuries. In the 20th century, the tourism infrastructure flourished in the village. There were built many restaurants, taverns, hotels of the highest level. Today, tourists can stay here in deluxe rooms and not worry about comfort. The village is located in the vicinity of Limassol - about 40 km from it and at an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level. Platres is appreciated by tourists, locals and just guests of the village for its wonderful mild climate - even at the height of summer there is no scorching heat. Also in the mountain village you can observe amazingly beautiful views and landscapes. Around there is a pine forest and dense shrubs. However, in addition to nature, there is something to see.Not far from the village, several keys and sources of pure spring water are being hit. This made it possible to build a trout farm on the mountain slopes. Here, in environmentally friendly conditions, trout and sturgeon are grown. The farm is located at the mouth of the river, which leads to the Caledonia waterfall, the fish lives in an environment that is as close to natural as possible. There are many taverns and restaurants near the farm where freshly caught fish can be prepared. A traditional dish for these places is grilled trout. Two hiking trails leave the village, leading to two waterfalls - Caledonia and Milomeris. Waterfalls are one of the most famous and beautiful in all of Cyprus. They are under the protection of UNESCO. The path to the waterfalls lies through a picturesque pine forest, in which in some places there are signs with the names of plants in English and Latin. The hiking route is about two kilometers along the highlands, but the purpose of the visit is worth it. At the waterfall itself there are benches where you can relax, eat and enjoy the magnificent views of the falling wateIn Platres is a chocolate factory, which is known throughout the world. It was founded by a married couple who in ancient times came from England. The Adams simply settled in Cyprus to live in a calm and clean mountainous area. They loved to make various goodies and chocolate for their children. This later became their business. The factory produces high-quality chocolate, some of which are coated with gold leaf. You can walk around the factory and see the process of making sweets with your own eyes.

The unique nature, healing mountain air, mild climate encouraged our company to implement a large-scale project called Platress Hills, which is located on a pine hill with breathtaking views and combines privacy and comfort while being in a 2-minute drive from the popular village Platres with its restaurants, banks, supermarkets, pharmacies, hotels and a hospital.
