The past year has opened my eyes to the indisputable reality of fallibility ... and the fact that, well, that's ok! #TheRubberBandSyndrome is very real, and while we used #IWD2024 as a conduit to open conversation on this topic, #MentalBurnout affects an alarmingly increasing number of people - regardless of gender! I believe that all life's experiences serve two purposes - the first to open our eyes to a particular truth for us, and second, so that through our experience we can lend a helping hand to others to open their eyes to their truth through a similar experience. My experience of #Burnout was scary to say the least, but I was blessed to have the support I needed to make a very good recovery ... thank you Savithri Rodrigo for giving me the opportunity to share my story, and hopefully, give many others, both gals and guys alike, a stepping stone to be vulnerable, and be truly empowered, because truly #EmpoweredPeopleAskForHelp
