Political debates are an important aspect of the United States presidential election process. Debates provide candidates an opportunity to articulate their policies and ideas, demonstrate their leadership skills, and engage with voters directly. Debates have a rich history in presidential elections, dating back to 1960 when the first televised presidential debate between John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon was held. This debate is widely believed to have helped Kennedy win the election, as his calm and confident demeanor impressed viewers, while Nixon appeared nervous and unprepared. Subsequent debates have been regarded as particularly significant in close presidential contests. The 1976 debate between Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford played a crucial role in the outcome of the election, as did the 2000 debate between George W. Bush and Al Gore. The fact that Biden is unwilling not to debate with RFK, is a total disservice to voters in their ability to make clear and objective decisions, as it enables citizens to assess candidates’ positions on a range of issues, as well as their communication skills and overall suitability for the presidency. However, does Biden's inability to debate RFK, expose his mental deterioration, within the democratic party?
