Looking back this year, had a wonderful opportunity to paint for "Maheshwaram Hogona" street art project in collaboration with Geechugalu, Sensing Local @malleshwaramurbanlivinglab @dultbangalore and other strategic partners. The aim of the project was to activate the forgotten/neglected bylanes of bengalurus oldest area by making the space more accessible to the resident's and making it more pedestrian friendly. It's these gestures, recognition that we all join hands for. Sensing Local Malleshwaram Social's Aparna, a RWA member wrote to us "wanted to let you and Param know that we met Naraynamma on Monday, when we were walking with AEE etc near 14th cross. And she was delightful to chat with - she is so happy and proud with the painting. Her children, who have a mobile phone, have taken a pic and shared it with all. People apparently request her for a pic in front of her portrait! I can't tell you how thrilled she is and how much it seems to have done to her self esteeem. Suchitra and i took a foto with her - or rather Sobia did the needful - it was such a happy feeling to chat with her and hear from her what this has done for her. "
