#GivingTuesday can feel overwhelming if you don't have a specific organization you recurrently support. Many great national campaigns are happening, but a personal connection can make giving extra special... 💜 I love the idea of finding a local school and paying off some of the student lunch debt. It can directly ease a personal burden someone in your community feels. 💙 You could decide to leave a larger than normal tip during at lunch or dinner. 💛 Giving does not have to be monetary. I'll say that again: Giving does not have to be monetary. If your budget is set, offering time is also so so important. You'll be surprised how many opportunities you find close to home with minimal search effort. 💚 Most of us can give someone who seems rushed at the grocery store an offer to cut in line to help ease their stress. Any other of your favorite ideas beyond an online donation to a charity? (WHICH IS STILL TOTALLY AWESOME AND SUPPORTED AND NEEDED!)

I was listening to our Monday night training this evening and there was something that really resonated with me. Have you ever walked along a street and saw someone who looked as if they were going to approach you to ask you to either join something or start donating to a charity. Do you walk on the other side of the road, pretend to be talking on your phone or just avoid eye contact and walk passed? How do you know that they are not going to offer you something really special? I read about so many people who are desperately looking for change or who are really worried about their situation but don't always want to hear properly about what others have to offer. Taking just half an hour out to hear what someone has to share could be the change you were looking for. It may not be what you are looking for but you'll never know if you're not open to having a conversation. Learn to give and be of service in leadership , and as a provider. In today's world, it can be easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We're constantly bombarded with messages telling us to buy, buy, buy! And it can be hard to remember the importance of giving back. But giving back is important. It's not just about making a donation to a charity. It's also about providing high quality service to others. When we give back, we make a difference in the world. We make it a better place. And when we provide high quality service, we build relationships. We create trust and loyalty. We make people feel good about themselves. And we make them want to do business with us again. So next time you're feeling stressed or overwhelmed, take a step back and think about how you can give back. Volunteer your time to a local charity. Donate to a cause that you care about. HERE is one for the crowd.... by chance does anyone work on a wage and for a company that does Maintenance??... That on a specific assigned weekends the compamy has YOU MONITOR a cellphone/computer for emergency call-outs AND NOT GET PAID for YOUR TIME to do the monitoring of said devices? When this HAPPENS you are working for free...PERIOD!! By having a company device attached to you in some form to cover their response time is in their benefit and you should be paid to NOT only do the call-out but also the actual monitoring! IF not you are DONATING YOUR TIME and if by chance you get a call-out you are NOW WORKING for a lesser wage OVER a day. CALL-OUT + DONATED TIME = less pay per hour
