Today I would like to share my morning ballet dance exercise to the #beautiful music of the #ballet "The Sleeping Beauty" by Pyotr Illyich Tchaikovsky. My ballet video is intended as an idea for exercise and can be an inspiration for those who don't dance ballet to try this exercise in the morning, as midday break or after work. Ballet has many #health benefits, improves cognition, posture, #breathing, #circulation and relieves stress. I like it as exercise, because it is beautiful, I love the music and it tells a story and lets you escape in a different world. Psychologists recommend that it is important to remember to play as adults. I like the morals of the ballet "The Sleeping Beauty", which in my mind are that: 1. Sometimes mistakes happen inadvertently, someone is hurt (the Evil Fairy has not been invited to the Christening of Princess Aurora) and misfortune follows (the beautiful, tender, generous, courageous, serene and playful Princess is cursed to die). 2. There is good in the world, which overcomes evil and the Lilac Fairy overturns the curse of the Evil Fairy and Princess Aurora is fated to sleep for a long time, after which she will be awaken by the kiss of a Prince. 3. Love saves people and makes them feel alive. 4. Things cannot be rushed, it takes time for your good and what is meant for you to reach you! #ballet #exercise #arts #creativity #stressmanagement #healthylifestyle #movementismedicine #music #optimism #play #cognition

For #laborday2023 I would like to share Part 2 of my morning ballet dance exercise to the delightful #music by Sergei Prokofiev for the romantic ballet "Romeo and Juliet" . I enjoy dancing ballet for health and happiness first thing in the morning and it is perfect for #selfcare September. Another benefit of #ballet for me in the morning, before breakfast, is that I center within myself. I am intuitive and ballet dance allows me to separate myself from any other distracting energies around. I completed two independent quizzes on which Shakespeare female leading lady my true #character is like, one from How Stuff Works and the second one from Quizzony. They have quite different and varied questions. However, on both of them I got I am Juliet (I have the results pictured for anyone who may doubt this)! Reading the description, it pretty much corresponds to my character, a romantic, that follows her #heart and dreams, rather quiet, not territorial, loving, but will be rather determined, if something stands between her and her dreams, and will stand up for what she thinks is right! The people who make these quizzes must be great #psychologists! And of course, Shakespeare must have been a great #humanist and must have had great understanding of #humannature! That's what makes him likely such a great #playwright, #poet and #author! So, ballet and art help you to lose yourself in something magical and find yourself at the same time! Always confirm with your physician before attempting ballet dance exercise and wear proper comfortable ballet dance shoes. This is what I enjoy doing in my free time apart from biomedical research and clinical work! For #exercise inspiration and idea I would like to share my morning #ballet exercise for #WorldBalletDay - dancing "La Fille Mal Gardee". This is a beautiful hopeful ballet we have seen with Lloyd Williams at the Metropolitan Opera performed by American Ballet Theater (ABT). It's a quintessential English ballet. On contemplating the beneficial effects of ballet for #health, I came to the conclusion that they are very individual. I enjoy ballet since a girl, it is #aesthetic, the beautiful #music is an additional benefit for health, ballet makes me feel alive and therefore happy. I read that dancing can be beneficial for the #immunesystem in that it enhances the natural #immunity (stimulates release of anti-inflammatory #cytokines and the function of natural killer cells). Ballet stimulates the #lymphaticsystem drainage and supports a healthy body posture. In summary, it makes me feel happy, beautiful, #optimistic and more confident, and young, all positive emotions that stimulate the immune system, counteract anxiety and stress. Sometimes long hours in the biomedical laboratory with an experiment that requires concentration and sitting in one place for a long time or working on a science paper for a long time at the computer can leave me stressed, weaken my immune system, irritate my vison, and facilitate a cold. It has happened on several occasion when an experiment has to be done in a short time. Alternating with dance breaks helps me to manage stress. These are questions of #occupationalhealth. What are these workshops about? Standing Leg: When teaching/practising ballet, it is a challenge to keep giving attention to the standing leg. There are many components to pay attention to: * What ( less effective) movement patterns are common, what do they look like, how can you address them * How to align the (hyperextended) knee? * How to manage effective turn out while the gesture leg is moving? * How to align through the leg, to allow for the foot to find balanced weightdistribution, in order to manage the load, and have a solid supportive standing leg? In this workshop we will look at common questions/ patterns that I encounter on a daily basis. You will learn simple and practical exercises, and learn how to implemement them in your dancing/teaching. You will be given suggestions for more effective cueing, both in language and in touch. I will share with you my insights, gathered through 25 years of working with elite dancers from Het Nationale ballet and Nederlands Dans Theater, and with the students from Nationale Ballet Academie. I give this Ballet Shoe five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Do you think that Ballet Dancers all over the World will buy this Ballet Shoe since Per Jeppsson gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️? Probably NOT! (I hope) Because what the heck do Per Jeppsson know about Balet Schoes??? (+100kg, +50 YEO, Stiff like a Iron 3…) Nobody would select a Ballet Shoe because I recommend it! … But! When Magazine with ”Self claimed Experts” recommend Wallboxes that don’t meet Standards, are with very pour Quality and with a lifetime less then three years at normal use… it’s another story!!!😯 Because they have to trust what they are been told by inststallers, evening Magazines, Tech Magazines etc. who makes some weekend tests and look at ”cool Cloud features” … what about testing Safety? Checking Approvals? Installation friendlyness? Background of Supplier? How much is the Warrenty offered worth?… As a buyer be critical! Is the instance that made the Test really making a trustworthy Test? Would you buy Ballet Shoes that I give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️? 😉
