What are the best practices for leveraging your existing customer base to drive adoption of your new product?
Prospect for early adopters in your least-satisfied customers. If you can provide solid value to them with new product features, not only have you gained a customer for life, you are seeding, “This company sucked but then then did X and they are amazing!” stories to help drive organic, word-of-mouth growth.

How do you showcase your experience in product development?
One area I like to dig into is discussing product changes or ideas that come from what I call the “space of null data”. Contemporary systems are instrumented out the wazoo, but there is always something that isn’t, often because it’s a metric for a different team, or it’s something that’s been overlooked. Identifying them and creating a hypothesis to address and instrument, like a download goal for a related team, is one way to show wholistic vs. siloed product thinking.

How can you effectively brainstorm and ideate in complex programs?
Dependency mapping or scoring can be another method to help people focus on the higher-order bits in that product. An example would be high-friction customer experience steps that needs to be smoothed. Identifying dependencies before the brainstorming session can help scope attention. Which are backend? Which are frontend? Which are architectural logic that would be very expensive to fix? Providing that information can help surface creative ways to address them without creating backlog items that will never be assessed and provide rough cost estimates before a full analysis is applied.

Almost 9,000 light years from Earth, the SS Orca colony surveying ship has been in orbit around a candidate colony planet for over a year with its family crew of Dr. Marcus Rapan, his wife, Becky, son, Dan, and a quantum artificial intelligence computer, CRTR, otherwise known as Critter.
So far it's been a routine colony certification, but Dr. Rapan has uncovered something amazing on the planet below - tantalizing fossils that will re-write the history books and inflate his first settler's bonus. But before he can report his findings, his research is interrupted and his family is torn away from him.
