Staff were friendlly and helpfull .hotel was kept very clean, shampoo and bath soap sachets replenished every day,nice pool area,food was good with plenty of choice. The beach is nice in calella and also the old town,nice walks and beaches around by the light house,And with the mainline railway station is ideal for a trip to Barcellona, just 9 euros return ticket or go the other way to Blanes.

Its only a ten minute walk to the beach although the two lovely pools are great to relax around. Staff was very helpfull and friendly. Buffet was great, gluten free diet was not a problem. Hotel is good value for money, if you ever want to stay in a location like Calella. Rooms. Nothing much, hotel is at the back of resort so a bit of a walk to the beach. In the bathroom there is no hooks for clothes, hair dryer. In the rooms there are no light curtains. It may be necessary to add to the rooms dinnerware sets (cup, plate, spoon, fork). A few extra degrees to the temperature of the pool would help. Only a couple of small things, the lights in the toilets in reception only stay on for about 10 seconds and its a pain having to keep pressing the button to activate it again! The plug sockets are nowhere near the mirror in the bedrooms so have to use the bathroom socket. Could have more vegetarian options on the buffet in the evening. Would have liked a couple of English programs on the TV. old decorated rooms/bathrooms with very poor acustic insulation. Would have preferred a bath instead of shower tho' shower was very good. Would like electric kettle in room to make hot drinks. Would like double beds. Breakfast is good but the same every day. Crowdy. We had a balcony on the road side so was noisy with the doors open. Nothing. Check in wasn't the best. Only one person working and had to wait quite a while. When I paid for half-board I wasnt notified that drinks not included. You can't get even water for free during dinner. Also single room looks different from the picture, smaller and quite out-dated. Wi-fi isn't available on the room, even in public areas I often wasn't able to get access because too many people logged in already. Noisy restaurant. Calella coast.
