How I use these 2 apps to keep me sane 😅

The apps I use:

#️⃣2️⃣  Google Tasks

As much as I’d like to ditch my phone sometimes, which is a good idea to do periodically, it’s actually a really awesome tool to help with daily routines and productivity. The two best apps that keep me productive are Notion and Google Tasks. Here’s how I use the apps to help me start my day off right:

1️⃣ 5-Minute Prayer Journal - Some people have a lot of down time to spare, but I don’t. I’ve got 7 kids including a 1 year old 😅 Shooting for 5-minutes to do my devotional journaling is doable for me. I touch the Notion shortcut for my journal, fill out a new journal entry, move it to the current month, then I’m done!

2️⃣ My Scripture Memory Board - Memorizing scripture is not just for kids (my kids loved AWANA!!) but for adults too! This Notion board has helped me to practice & recite my verses for the day, keep the verses I’m working on organized, and jot down scripture I want to memorize in the future. Scripture tells us to hide God’s Word in our hearts for good reason. At the moments we really need to remember His promises, these memory verses give us renewed hope and rekindles our faith.

3️⃣  Check off the tasks in Google Tasks ✅

4️⃣ My Daily Dashboard - This Notion dashboard has been so helpful in helping me organize all.of.my.life! Everything I do on a daily basis, besides my daily devotions and journals, is here. Out of all the productivity tools that I’ve tried (Trello, Asana, ClickUp, etc.), Notion has been the most powerful and helpful app to help me get stuff done.

Using Notion has helped me journal more consistently, keep God and His Word top-of-mind, and be super productive at home and with work. This is why I ❤️ Notion!
