Definitely some of the best graphics for a C64 game I've ever seen. Great music too. Unfortunately not that fun to play. I would have liked it as a kid I think.

Wonderful graphics let down by the most god awful gameplay. Games with graphics like these always seem to boil down to simple reaction tests, and this is no different.

You have no idea the trouble I wnet through landing this title in my collection seeing as it was based in the Toronto area and I took my then girlfriend (now my wife) on a roadtrip to find this distrubtion office and purchase it on the spot.
The graphics are exceptional but the gameplay is rather lacking and there lies the rub.
If you can forgo gameplay for graphics then this game is for you otherwise you will be somewhat disappointed...
Still it was a rather brave effort...

This was supposed to be my Christmas present from my parents, but they game makers kept delaying and delaying. I actually called them up and talked for a bit with someone who assured me that it was being released, but the other versions took priority. In the end, I couldn't wait, so I instead bought my first Amiga. Never got to play this game, but used to drool over the screen shots in the mags...

The conversion from Amiga is commendable, but the original is very limited to begin with. The long dungeon adventure level (before final boss) is my personal favourite, on other levels it's hardly more than a simple reaction test...

This game was surprisingly similar to it's Amiga counterpart. The graphics were fantastic, but just like the Amiga version, gameplay wasn't quite what it should or could have been. The limited number of moves made what could have been a very cinematic version of Barbarian 2 (palace) into little more then a "turn on the cheats and watch the pwitty colors" demo. Too bad.

This game blew me away in 1991, and it's still outstanding even today. The graphics are some of the best ever on the C64, and the gameplay is superb. If you're gonna get this game, get the cartridge version, with 0 loading times.

Largely hyped when first released. I remember mixed reviews ranging from good to outstanding. It was lauded for its beautiful graphics but I think the loading times were a bit stressful. It's pretty good in my opinion and I'm very suprised theres no other comments on it!
