Our staff is the soul of our hotel. They understand that true luxury cannot be found in a hotel room, foyer or restaurant. You simply can' t see true luxury, you can only feel it.
The definition of true luxury is different for everyone. But at Landgoed Lauswolt, there are enough possibilities to satisfy everyone's wishes.
Rooms and suites
The estate offers 59 luxury rooms and suites, including characteristic historical rooms and a wing renovated in 2021. Next to the estate is a separate building; The Coachhouse. This is a group accommodation with 7 luxury rooms and suites, each with its own bathroom.
Our restaurants
In restaurant De Heeren van Harinxma, the dishes are characterised by seasonal inspiration and the use of fresh and local products. The restaurant has been awarded with a Michelin star. The second restaurant is Bistro Nijeholt, which has been awarded with a Bib Gourmand. The same honest local ingredients are used here, but the dishes are servid with a more simple preparation.

There are plenty of opportunities for relaxation in Spa & Wellness; the Art of Beauty. Let go of your daily worries and start the day with a lovely swim in our indoor and outdoor swimming pool or relax in the sauna or Turkish steam bath after an intensive day.
Landgoed Lauswolt is also known for its adjacent 18-hole golf course Golf & Countryclub Lauswolt. During your round of golf, you can enjoy the beautiful forests, meadows and serenity.
Friesland is a special, characteristic province that is known for its lakes, the panoramic landscapes and the 11 Frisian cities. Landgoed Lauswolt is located in the middle of the woods next to the picturesque village of Beetsterzwaag. The estate and the nearby nature reserve are a wonderful place for walking or cycling.
In short: there is plenty to do. We think it is most important that you do what you want to do. Even if that means doing nothing at all.
