Biography
Tess Natanja Gaerthé (born August 21, 1991 in Amsterdam), better known as just Tess, is a Dutch singer, songwriter, musician and actress. She was the Dutch representative at the 3rd Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2005. Singing "Stupid", she finished in 7th place with 82 points
Since the JESC, apart from still going to school with an integrated pop/jazz education, she came out with additional singles. She was requested to write and sing the title song for the television series “Spetter”. Same year by Disney for the Dutch version of the main duet of High School Musical 2. This duet, “De Stem Van Mijn Hart”, with Thomas Berge became a big hit.. Her first album, "Onweerstaanbaar" was released March 6, 2008 in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Now, singing together with twin brother Joel, as Tess and The Chiefs, they released their first album together, November 2010, "Time Warp."
