Castello di Petrata
Castello di Petrata is an elegant and welcoming property in the heart of Umbria, just 5km from Francesco and 600m high up on a hill, providing spectacular views over the city and the valley. On site is a wellness centre and swimming pool.
The castle has beautiful indoor spaces to host your wedding breakfast in case of wet weather. Sala Limonaia is a splendid glass room with views of the castle and the gardens and gives the impression of being outside in the garden. The inside space can seat up to 300 guests.
For winter weddings of up to 250 guests you can host your wedding inside the castle which has exposed stone, wooden beams and a warm atmosphere, or in the Lemon House over looking the gardens.
Castello di Petrata can accommodate up to 100 people. We can offer two types of hospitality:
1 - Castello di Petrata Hotel (up to 60 guests). 22 rooms with different types of occupancy from 2 people (classic room) to 6 people (family suite)
2 - Glamping Petrata (up to 40 people) 20 charming tents inside the park of the Castello di Petrata. They can accommodate 2 guests each and have a beautiful bathroom area to share, showers with comfortable dressing rooms, close to the glamping area and to the Castello.
For the ceremony itself you can have a symbolic ceremony in the garden with a splendid view of Assisi. If you would like a religious ceremony, this can take place in one of the beautiful churches of Assisi or a purely civil ceremony can be held in the halls of the Municipality in the centre of the city.
