HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Tri-City Storm hosted the Sioux Falls Stampede in game one of the opening round of the USHL playoffs on Monday night.

The Storm entered the playoffs as the 4-seed in the Western Conference, hosting the five-seed Stampede in a best of three series.

Tri-City fell to Sioux Falls, 6-5 in overtime. The Stampede now have a 1-0 lead in the series.

The Storm face elimination in game two against the Stampede on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
