The Fanes Refuge is located at approximately 2,060 meters above sea level and is located on the plateau of the same name. Here you can taste the typical dishes of the South Tyrolean tradition. It was built in 1928 and expanded over the years.

The hut is located at an altitude of 2060 m in the Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park on the alpine meadows of Kleinfanes. The Dolomiten-Höhenweg 1 leads past the Faneshütte. The hut was built in 1928 as an alpine base for the Hotel Post in St. Vigil and was expanded in 1937. The name of the hut is borrowed from the Fanes alpine pastures of the same name. It is still owned by the Mutschlechner family to this day. Source: Wikipedia
