The village Persingen has a late medieval Gothic church, which serves as an exhibition space and wedding location and is also used for funerals. Church and tower are National Monument.

The churches in Persingen and Kekerdom are literal highlights at night because they are illuminated. At the campsite "De Weide Blick" near Persingen we see a pair of storks in the nest. Good luck messengers for the night. Then it's dark.
