AF-S Nikkor VR 70-200 f/2.8 ED IF high performane zoom lens features Nikon's exclusive Silent Wave Motor, Vibration Reduction (prevents blur from camera shake for sharp images) and Internal Focusing. It also employs five Extra-low Dispersion glass elements to minimize chromatic aberration, thus providing superior optical performance at all apertures. The Silent Wave Motor enables ultra-high-speed autofocusing with exceptional accuracy and powerful super-quiet operation. The VR operation offers the equivalent of using a shutter speed 3 stops faster. In addition, active vibration mode selection possible. For using in an active situation such as in a car, boat or plane. High-performance Nikon Super Intergrated Coating offers superior color reproduction and minimizes ghost and flare. Its rounded 9-blade diaphragm creates a pleasant natural bokeh. The G designation identifies the G design which incorporates distance information for flash and ambient light exposure processes. The 70-200mm lens is compatible with Nikon D1X, D1H, D100, F5, F100, N80, N75 and N65.
