  1. I just read that Brassica chinensis is now considered a subspecies of Brassica rapa, so I've identified it as B. rapa. Does that sound okay? Posted 3 years ago, modified 3 years ago
    1. In Indonesia I found both Caisim/choy sum n also pokcoi/Bok Choy. Perhaps later when I plant Bok Choy n start flowering I will also take a photo as well. During the present pandemic Covid 19, I n mywife prefer to live in my kampong in West Java instead of Jakarta n we plant some numbers vegetables for our own consumtion. Posted 3 years ago

"Brassica rapa" is a plant consisting of various widely cultivated subspecies including the turnip; napa cabbage, bomdong, bok choy, and cime di rapa; and "Brassica rapa subsp. oleifera", an oilseed which has many common names, including "turnip rape", "field mustard", "bird rape", and "keblock".
