Grand Okan

I thought that when I booked a "Solo" holiday with Jet2 that it would have facilities to bring solo people together - this was not the case and was very disappointing, especially in the evenings. The bar in the on the opposite side of the road played music into the early hours - the band might aswell have been in the room with me. So plenty of sleepless nights. I booked a Jet2 Jeep Safari, and was collected in a run down jeep with no seat belts, with a driver who was driving right up to the back of other jeeps on the fast dual carriageway. I was pretty frightened and the jeep was scruffy, old and unsafe, as was the driving. I assumed we were doing the mountain cross country in that jeep, so decided to walk away. They came after me and I refused to go, and they made me sign to say I was unwell. I wasn't, I just wasn't prepared to go with them, it was bad enough on the road let alone off road. The hotel staff were great, the food I couldn't vouch for because I had no taste following covid a few weeks before.

After having a fantastic holiday in marmiras(Turkey) we decided to go back and this time we have chosen Antalya. Everything was ok until we got to the hotel when we were told to stay all of us in one room that fits 5 people in fact we were 6 people (3adults+ 3children) my husband had to sleep on the floor. Apparently our 2rooms were not ready. We did not move to our rooms till 14:00. This was unprofessional they know they have booking rooms should be ready before our arrival. The next down side is the flush in the toilet it had to be reported 4 time in a week before they send someone who could replace the whole flush. During our stay power cuts kept happening during 2 days. In one occasion more than 6 mn in the dark. Internet very slow and sometimes no internet and you have to go to the reception to get a better connection. It says that the hotel has its private beach is not true as anyone can access that area and we had to pay for the beds and sun umbrella. The food was too salty I do not understand why they put too much salt in every dish you can only enjoy salad. The waiters are untrained they kept going and coming back to clear the table constantly on the top of our head on so many occasion my drinks were taking before we have finished. It says that the hotel is family friendly I am sorry but is not true no entrainment whatsoever for kids apart from their famous Turkish night which is designated for adults only. Over all experience it wasn’t what we had expected the area is more for adults. I do not recommend this hotel for family with young kids.

this is a lovely hotel good staff and great food ,,good pool and in a good location. had a great two weeks here . the only down side was our room was at the front of the hotel so we had the noise of the traffic from the main road .we asked to be moved but they said they were full. this did not spoil our holiday as we got used to it

We stayed at the hotel in August 2018 for a family holiday.. The children had a ball in the pool and my daughter knew all staff by the end of the first day even when at times she talked too fast in English for them to understand her! Amanda, (the manager) who was from Manchester, was always about to answer any questions we had and helped us when we decided to take public transport, before we left that morning she gave us her card so we could contact her at any point of the day if we needed help. How she is fluent in 5 languages I will never know! From the start till the day we left for Belfast we felt like we were staying with family and not in a hotel. The staff learnt all our names and took time to speak to us when they were passing. Definitely recommend this hotel to any one wanting a holiday to a beautiful city that had loads of history and a coast line that was beautiful. Looking forward to returning.

This is a very comfortable and clean place. Staff are friendly and respectful from General manager to the cleaners. Food is excellent and service is superb. I was made to feel very welcome and as a solo traveller was never treated as an inferior being!
