Corallium Beach By Lopesan Hotels

Our first time in Gran Canaria and we were not disappointed. This Hotel Chain was new to us and I'm delighted to say that it met all our expectations. The room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of wardrobe space and a nice balcony that caught the late afternoon sun. I liked the Walk In shower in the bathroom. The Dining Room was efficiently run and i defy anyone to say that there was not enough choice of food - we ate there for breakfast and dinner. Lots of choice, lots of variety and always beautifully presented. The Hotel is close to the beach and the promenade and its fairly easy walking to Playa des Ingles and beyond. We also used the local buses to travel to the Lighthouse. to Mogan and to Las Palmas. Buses are clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.

Lovely clean hotel and rooms. Lovely staff. But... made a mistake going half board! Breakfasts were great. Dinner food was good but the buffet offer was the same every night for our 10 nights so soon got boring and we increasingly ate out for variety which pushed the price of our holiday considerably. Go for bed and breakfast and you will be on a winner. Avoid half board at this hotel if you don't fancy the same theme every night

We recently stayed at this hotel.forst of all I cannot fault the state of the cleanliness of the hotel it was lovely. However this place was advertise wrongly it doesn't suit anyone who want a good night entertainment at the hotel, as there is only a person on a keyboard or instrument playing same.music.for waltzing or slow dance this was same every night. The entertainment team was none existent it was one person doing same activities for five days. The food was standard the same food everyday no real change to the food got.boring towards end of holiday. Now I understand gran canaria is german populated but wow these germans were staring at us the whole time they really made us feel.uncomfortable they dont.get in lift with you and we did find on occasion if we got in the pool they got out. Was not very nice at all. It seems very well catered for.the germans and not well catered for.other nationalities.

Just returned from the IFA Beach Htoel. If you are going ... You will not regret choosing this hotel. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The Hotel is one of the cleanest Hotels we have ever stayed in, the cleaners do not stop. Every day they clean the pool area, and pools in great detail. Rooms are cleaned daily and are to very high stndrd. The food was Ming offering a very varied menu on all courses. The waiting staff and chefs went out of their way to help and were so friendly and polite. The facilities were great with good pools, hot tubs and refreshment areas. Seating in the hotel to relax in with free wifi. Definately hire a car to see the island. Beach is a walk through the hotel pool re, straight into the beach. Would highly recommend.

9 of us went to the IFA Beach Hotel with ages ranging from 18 through to 70 and all of us enjoyed the accommodation, entertainment, food and facilities on offer. It is right on the beach and has 2 lovely pools and being adult only it has a very laid back atmosphere.

This was a last minute bargain holiday. We wanted a quiet break without spending a lot to chill out and catch a bit of sun before Christmas. The hotel is mainly German guests, but hey we are still in Europe. The place is mainly spotless and I was amazed by the hard working efforts by all the staff to cater for the guests. rooms are a touch compact but well laid out with a decent and clean bahtroom and shower. Location next to the beach was excellent for heading out for long walks along the beach front in relative peace and calm. The food I could not fault and was varied throughout the holiday. tables were well presented with spotless linen. The gripes, I was happy enough to overlook were 1- Paid Wifi outside the lobby and paid room safe. i suppose at the price offered every corner has to be costed, 2:-lack of male dress code applied for evening meals it was like attending an Aspergers conference. its not that hard to wear a pair of trousers and stick on a shirt. Thankfully if you wait an hour for the strange wave tp graze a more peaceful ambience returns to the dining area.

This IFA Beach Hotel is friendly, welcoming and VERY clean - inside & out. We stayed for a week and wanted to stay longer. The room, although a little tired, was clean and had all you needed, except plug sockets! Non near the bed and only 3 in the whole apartment! It did have a mini fridge, which was very welcome in the heat we experienced. The air con was also very welcome and was working well. Being on the 7th floor worked well for us and we had a view of the sea (most rooms do) The beds weren't the best and even though they already have toppers on, they are still a little hard for my liking. TBF I didn't bring this to their attention, so don't know if they could of done anything about it. The room service was daily and thorough. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and can't do enough to help. They notice every little detail and sort any problems/issues immediately. We were all inclusive and the meal selection was incredible! I really couldn't believe someone had complained about the choice (in a review before we went) . My ONLY issue about the all incl, is that it's not strictly true unless you upgrade to the premium drinks package (8E a day). Still not bad if you want to drink lots! We stuck to the normal local drinks and this suited us fine as they don't scrimp on quantity! Ice creams are also not included. There is soap and shampoo in the bathroom (in pump form), helpful if you're traveling light and the shower is GREAT! Entertainment was ...........different BUT at least there WAS entertainment. The older couples liked it for dancing to ;-) The beach is 3 mins away, with access from the back of the hotel. Typical GC sand - black but the beach was clean with the usual beds & brolly hire, for 9E for 2 beds plus brolly. Even with my little gripes I would DEFINITELY return here again :-)

do not arrive after dark, we arrived 11pm found it difficult to find entrance as not illuminated much ,helpfull couple pointed out how to gain entrance. although upgraded to delux double room there were no drawers for storing undies,smimwear etc.had to use suitcases. first time having to pay for water, towels(even charge for exchanging them) room safe but don't know if this is standard in 3 star. food not brilliant.

Very pleasant hotel with attractive pool areas and surroundings but sunbeds very closely packed. the gardens were very attractive and maintained with jacuzzi pools, the overall cleanliness of the hotel was very good with cleaners in attendance most of the times

Hotel good food good entertainment rubbish unless you are german quite resort but bus service exerlent can get to most places on bus cheaply definitely worth a trip to port mogon and port ricco be careful whats trips you book not good value for money

Brilliant hotel, staff absolutely superb and so friendly, better than a Sheraton, food absolutely wonderful, cleanliness better than a hospital, beach so close you can paddle from your room, pools superb,
