Corona Blanca

Dated and in need of repair. No air conditioning. Nice pool with comfy sun bed mattresses. Friendly staff especially the maids and lifeguard. A few nice restaurants close by but general area a big run down.

Have stayed here before. Always clean rooms and friendly staff. Always go self catering at this Hotel. Breakfast on the balcony each day. Well placed hotel in the resort. Plenty of dining places in the area

Very dated hotel. NO aircon which is just ridiculous. Rooms average. Would be better with aircon. Was on a self catering basis and was moaned at for drinking my own drinks at the pool because they didn't sell what I wanted to drink.. isn't this the idea of a self catering holiday? There was no signs to say your not allowed to drink your own drink or eat your own food.. Pool area was nice, floor very slippery though, which I know is obvious at a poolside but this was bad, my mum slipped on her first day, lifeguard helped a little but but no one came to check if she was okay. Nice area of hotel, close to everything needed. Supermarket 2 min walk, kasbah centre 2 min walk with shops, bars and restaurants, 10 min walk from the front where more shops bars and restaurants are. Lovely area. The constant persuading to go into bars and restaurants is very annoying though. Overall I would rate the hotel a 1 but wouldnt say terrible so put 2 for poor but the area I would give a 4, lovely place to stay.

We arrived with myself on a mobility scooter and they had organised for us to be on the reception floor as the lift wasn't big enough for my scooter. We were asked for the room voucher but I couldn't find it so she gave us our room key anyway and just said to forward it to her by email when we found it. Our apartment was big enough to take in my scooter and park it up without compromising our living space. It was clean and tidy. The balcony overlooked the pool and was lovely. The hotel staff were all very friendly and our beds and towels were changed regularly whilst we stayed. We would definitely go back again and would recommend anyone to go.

We have recently returned from 2 weeks staying at the Corona Blanca. We were very disappointed with this apartment. It was dark and dingy, needing a total refurb (Apt 13) bathroom was of poor repair, threadbare towels some days. Bedroom was shabby, hard pillows. On numerous occasions we were d Woken at night due to scurrying above the ceiling, sounded like mice! You could also hear the person in the above going to the toilet. Kitchen drain was very smelly. Lounge did not have proper curtains, just a door curtain, the rest being plastic blackout linings to the patio doors. Numerous times we had cockroaches in our apartment, complained to reception about the standard of cleaning but they were not really interested. On the whole an awful apartment which spoilt our holiday! The only good thing was that the pool area was kept very clean and sun beds comfy but unfortunately very limited parasols. The pool attendant was very helpful. A lot of street noise at night from neighbouring clubs and Kasbah centre. Definitely will not be going back to the Corona Blanca apartments.

Lovely hotel star rating should be higher... Rooms in good condition.. Cleaned 6 days a week..great staffGood sized pool area with kids area with full time life guard... Plenty of sun loungers any time of the day

Could really do with heater/air con unit in the room. We arrived at the end of January and it was cold. It wasn't ideal having to sit in the room with a blanket over you. The room was on the rear of the hotel and what sun there was didn't even reach the balcony and the room was dark and we had to have the light on during the day. Wouldn't want to stay there again

Clean .tidy . Quiet .pool area and pool was brilliant .staff were friendly .hotel room was excellant .not 1 bad thing to say about the hotel .the staff were helpful the location was central to everything .i would definately stay in same hotel gladly

Great location to stay and I’m already booked to stay at the Corona Blanca again on my next trip. Kitchen is a bit basic if you like to cook when away (no oven or microwave) but apart from that the apartments are ideal.

Excellent hotel centrally located with friendly staff, very clean rooms an excellent swimming pool and quite quiet too. All necessary amenities are within walking distance. Clean bedding and towels every other day.
