Apple has done it again.

They have completely reinvented the landscape of the smart phone market by simply taking advantage of one of the most underutilized aspects of the smart phone. The Packaging!

Each new iPhone 6 comes with extra materials that can be converted into a sweet Box Phone Case. Take this quote from blogger JKForRealzz84 :

Step 1: Measure Your Box

Measure

Take your iPhone box out of the closet and grab your favorite measuring device.

Placing your iPhone next your iPhone box, record all the measurements.
If you are using a scissor and razerblade mark out the outlines with pencil.
- I used a laser cutter but still cut out the iPhone holder area with a scissor because it could contain PVC.
- If you are laser cutting, create your file in your desired drafting software.

Step 2: Cut Out Your Screen, Button and Button Slots

Cut

Box :

I used a laser cutter to cut out all of the screen and button holes.

If you are doing this I would suggest cutting out your files on cardboard first to make sure it is aligned correctly.

Buttons :

I laser cut buttons out of Acrylic and wood. I used super glue to glue the Acrylic to the wood so that it could reach through the packaging, to the iPhone.

Circle Home Button :

I used double stick tape to make sure the buttons stayed in place.
