Breathless - AGA first person shooter for Amiga CD32

Another day, another Earok Amiga CD32 port release and once again it's a first person shooter in the form of Breathless. Developed by Fields of Vision, Breathless is a great action game as it has mood and atmosphere, huge levels to explore, enough combat to keep the player interested and a Doom style engine in lovely 256 AGA colours. Although this is the last of the AGA first person shooter Amiga CD32 ports by Earok, it's actually one of the best and runs much better than the previous release.

Lionheart - One of the finest platformers for Amiga CD32

Here is one of the finest games you'll ever play on an Amiga, a game that has not just great reviews but is still being sold for a very high price on Ebay. It's Lionheart by Thalion Software, the same developers behind the incredible RPG Ambermoon. Lionheart is a 1993 platformer and features some of the best graphics and gameplay ever seen on an Amiga, a highly regarded platformer on a retro system. Thanks to Earok you can now play this brilliant game on an Amiga CD32!

Nemac IV: The Director's Cut - First person shooter for Amiga CD32

The next Earok Amiga CD32 port release is now available for download and once again it's a first person shooter. Originally released by Zentek,  Nemac IV: The Director's Cut is a doom style game in which your task is to infiltrate Nemac IV, an automated defence installation gone haywire. Featuring lots of weapon blasting action and enemies to destroy, Nemac is a pretty decent game to have in your Amiga CD32 collection.

As if Pinball Fantasies couldn't be beat; along comes Slam Tilt, a Pinball simulation game developed by Liquid Dezign HB and published by Century Entertainment that became one of the best Pinball games of all time. Released in 1996 for Amiga as an AGA version and in 1997 for PC, this hit game featured four incredible tables; Mean Machines, The Pirate, Ace of Space and Night of the Demon. Ranked 13th best game of all time by Amiga Power, you can now play these epic Pinball machines on an Amiga CD32 thanks to Earok.

Good afternoon gamers, I hope everyone had a good weekend! Thus with a new week it's a new Earok Amiga CD32 port and none other than Leading Lap MPV; a '95 AGA racing game for the Amiga. Although the game is fun to play as you race around the track at break neck speeds, it's no way as good as the brilliant Formula One, Still though atleast it's free and will probably be the last of the racing AGA conversions, so enjoy it and look forward to another release tomorrow.

The Killing Grounds & Flappy Bird get the Amiga CD32 treatment!

You may have noticed the lack of posts these last few days, that's because I haven't been well at all. So while I was bed bound I had the pleasure of playing the latest Earok Amiga CD32 ports of both Alien Breed 3D : The Killing Grounds and Flappy Bird. Whereas The Killing Grounds is a first person shooter, Flappy Bird is a tappable flappy game to avoid pipes.

WinUAE 2.9.0 Beta 15 - Amiga QEMU PPC core support

After much waiting and wondering how far the PPC core development would progress, Toni Wilen has released the latest WinUAE 2.9.0 beta 15 with some pretty impressive improvements. One such member by the name of esc has commented that Amiga OS 4 loads considerably faster and so far PPC doom and quake are actually playable. But that's not all this beta has to offer, so make sure to check the changelog and download the best in Amiga emulators.

4D Sports Driving - Be the ultimate stunt driver in this Amiga CD32 port

Prepare for the crazy drive of your life as Earok has now released 4D Sports Driving; a game published in 1990 by Brøderbund Software, Inc that's all about the tricks, stunts and making your own crazy tracks in the construction editor. One of the best stunt games ever released and using either a first person or third person perspective you'll be jumping large gaps, pulling tricks and impressing others with your crazy track design. Although not as good as Stunt Car Racer, it's just incredibly addictive and is now available to play on your Amiga CD32.

Rally Championships - Arcade racing for Amiga CD32

Put aside the platformers and puzzle games as it's time for the next Amiga CD32 Earok release in the form of an arcade racing game called Rally Championships. Developed by InSide Team and released in 1994, you'll be racing around different tracks of both green and snow while aiming for the best possible time. Rally Championship features great graphics in an isometric view and fun gameplay, what did let the original down was lots of disk swapping especially the AGA version and hard difficulty.

Dune II - An incredible RTS classic comes to Amiga CD32

The next game for the Earok Amiga CD32 conversion is the very famous Dune II, an amazing RTS classic from Westwood, one of the best companies of my generation. Dune II became the defining genre of complexity and innovation, a huge success and laid the foundation for Command & Conquer, and many other RTS games to come. Play as a commander of one of the three interplanetary houses, the Atreides, the Harkonnen or the Ordos, and gain ultimate control of the spice of the planet Arrakis. Build bases, harvest spice and command your units in one of the best RTS games ever released.

Released in 1987 and developed by Time Warp Products and published by Rainbow Arts, had a controversial production history, similarities to Super Mario and also an alleged lawsuit case. With originals sometimes selling into the £1000's on Ebay on multiple system platforms, the Great Giana Sisters is a brilliant 2D platformer in which the player controls either Giana or her sister Maria.

Kick Off Collection - Hugely playable Football games now Amiga CD32 playable

As promised the next Amiga CD32 port is now available for Amiga CD32 owners and this time it's none other than the Kick Off collection. Now I'm not a Football fan, I really do hate Football even games, but according to those that played Kick Off it's a hugely playable series and has won numerous awards in the gaming industry.

Super Cars Collection - A racing classic ported to Amiga CD32

We are now onto game number 4 and it's none other than the brilliant Super Cars collection of 1 and 2, two brilliant top down arcade racers for the Amiga published by Gremlin in 1990/91. Rick Dangerous Compilation - An incredible classic ported to Amiga CD32 (+PC Portable)

Today was one of those days but when I saw the latest Amiga CD32 Earok port release of Rick Dangerous and it's sequel, my mood changed to one of joy. As promised EAB user Earok has already gone onto the next Amiga game and has given it the full conversion to the classic Amiga CD32 console. WinUAE 2.8.2 beta 4 - CD32 FMV edition gets a beta update!

It seems as if the first beta of WinUAE 2.8.1 was pretty popular especially through the social network as it featured the latest addition of the CD32 FMV, which enabled full motion video through CD32 based titles. But as is the case with betas they need improving further, so today Toni Wilen has released the latest beta build of WinUAE 2.8.2 beta 4 that has even more bug fixes. International Amiga Day - The day has come to celebrate the Amiga!

Rejoice all you retro gamers as the time has finally come to get your Amiga out and relive the golden years of the Amiga 500, 1200 or whatever system you had at the time. It's International Amiga Day which is in celebration of Jay Miner who, according to Gyorgy Dragon, was the father of the Amiga and today is his birthday. And what better way to celebrate that day than to do something related to the Amiga, it can be playing Amiga games on an emulator, using the original hardware or turning the old girl white again through a multitude of chemicals. This is going to be a great day as thousands or even millions of gamers around the world will be celebrating what I myself had the pleasure of playing.
