- The original 1999 release of this game RollerCoaster Tycoon game has the following features not present in the 2017 RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic.

- The Menu interface is located in the top part of the screen.
- The Merry-go-round ride is the only ride that has music which features classical music.
- The Handyman workers has 4 jobs check listed by default including picking up litter, sweeping paths, watering gardens and mowing lawns though mowing the lawn serves no purpose in the game.
- There is no fast forward button feature in this game, so players be prepared to find other hobbies to do while waiting for the park year scenario to end.
- There's a shovel lawn glitch that allows the player to simply click on the lawn with the shovel which will remove the tall grass.

- The player is no longer allowed to charge for park admission to the guests like in the original game, so be prepared to charge money on the rides and shops for profit income.
- The shovel lawn glitch that was present in the original game has been fixed so you'll have to have Handyman mow the lawn, though it doesn't do anything to the game.
- When the player wants to see the paths, they will be required to pause the game so they can go to the options menu to make the rides, support beams, scenery, people invisible rather than on the go like the original.
- Upon selecting the Handyman, Mechanic Workers, Security Guards, Entertainer while the game is paused and placing the worker units will automatically un-pause the game.
- This game now has a fast forward button feature that was introduced to RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 which now allows the player to speed up the game to get to the end of the years.
- The Achievements are exclusive to the touchscreen Android and iOS releases. However the PC Steam version does not have this feature.
