nonstop blooming

What do you grow purely for blooming power? I fell in love with Phlox drummondi 'Sugar Stars' this year. It entranced me with the Orlaya grandiflora (which has petered out, even though the phlox is still going!!!). The only other bloomer that gives it a run for the money at this point it stock (Matthiola incana), and it's a tender perennial. It bloomed for me from September until June. I have already put them in the ground for this next autumn, hoping I move back the start date to July/August. That'd be something to bloom year round?! So those are mine (outside of zinnia, petunia, and its cousin calibrachoa), what are yours?

Looks like a watercolor, but it's just a camera shot

wish you could smell it
