That's grotesque and revolting! I think that I need one! Looks more like a insect drooling or that alien in Predator! How are Maxillarias to grow? I'm considering getting a few! Scott
Checking my GrowList, I just realized that I have one already! I have a Maxillaria sophronitis. It hasn't bloomed yet, but it is about eight times larger than when I bought it. I just talked myself into getting a Maxillaria arachnites and a Maxillaria pseudoreichenheimiana! Thats all I need, more plants! :) Scott
One thing I didn't mention - I only really found out today - is that after a few days this plant develops a really disgusting smell. I thought at first it was something our cats had done!
