A Luxe New Nail Salon Has Arrived in the GOOF
Brush Box brings contemporary design and clean beauty to the GOOF.

We're already obsessing over the contemporary design of this swanky new GOOF spot, and it's just barely opened its doors. Brush Box, a luxury nail salon and day spa, is the new concept at 1717 W 34th St. from owner Tony Le and his business partners Harry and Vinh Nguyen.
The newly built 3,000-square-foot space is not your garden-variety nail salon thanks to lofty ceilings, ultra-modern decor, a fully stocked bar (complimentary mimosas, sangria, or cocktails for patrons is a serious draw), and state-of-the-art amenities like 22 pedicure stations outfitted with phone charging docks. Le, who grew up in salon environments as the son of a certified nail technician, wants Brush Box to be the ultimate urban escape.

As such, you'll find no TVs, chemical fumes, or other distractions. There's even a floor-to-ceiling, glassed-in kids' playroom so parents of small children can still partake in the spa services, which range from traditional mani-pedis to facials, microblading, waxing, and eyelash treatments.
"Our goal in designing Brush Box was to create the perfect setting for friends to gather for decadent spa days, bachelorette parties, or even just to wind down after a long day,” Le says. “It’s all about making our guests feel relaxed and pampered.”

Brush Box also foregoes potentially harmful beauty products, instead using only non-toxic, organic goods down to the nail polish—inventory includes more than 1,000 colors from brands like CND Vinylux, Zoya, and OPI, and all are a minimum of "five-free," meaning they're free from formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate, resin, and camphor.
Then there are Brush Box's signature treatments, which will rotate by season, with formulas developed by Le and his team after thorough research. Products used here include house-made salt scrubs blended with essential oils, bath bombs, herbals, lotions, and moisturizing masks.
Manicures start at $20 and pedicures at $35; other head-to-toe treatments are offered in Brush Box's three private service rooms. The spa is open 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Sunday. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended—call 832-742-5161 to book.
