Plant description

An interesting evergreen fern native to eastern Australia, it has upright green fronds with red new young fronds. It naturally grows in wet and shady places, so needs simillar conditions in the garden. Useful for damp areas and shady spots. Good for container growing. Feed with half strength fertiliser in the warmer months. Grows to around 60 centimetres high and wide.
