The Ford GT40 is one of the most iconic race cars in history. The GT40 was driven to victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans four years in a row from 1966-69, along with posting wins at the top endurance races in America, the 12 Hours of Sebring and 24 Hours of Daytona.

The Superformance GT40 MKI brings that legendary performance and style into the modern era. Authenticity was the Superformance engineers' goal when recreating the GT40 MKI. It carries the GT40/P chassis number and is built to the exact standards of the car back in the 1960s. It is so authentic that over two thirds of the rolling chassis parts are interchangeable with the original GT40s, and the car is eligible for the official GT40 registry.

The most sought after paint scheme is the Gulf Livery, and P/2379 is dressed in it. This widebody, right-hand-drive GT40 also has the Gurney Bubble for additional headroom. The roundels contain the number 6, the same as Jacky Ickx's 1969 Le Mans-winning, Gulf livery GT40, P/1075. Ickx is a six-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, and has signed the interior of this GT40, as shown in the photos.

P/2379 is powered by a 363ci Ford Racing V8 rated at 500 horsepower, mated to a stout Quaife transaxle. Period details include Gurney Weslake valve covers. Superformance GT40s are built for street use and come standard with air conditioning, like the original GT40 street versions. A premium leather interior adds to the comfort and style of this outstanding sports car.
