Pieris formosa Forrestii is a dense, compact, evergreen shrub that has a rounded bun shape.
The leathery, dark green, glossy leaves are a bronzy-red colour when young.
It bears gorgeous, pendulous panicles of small, white, bell-shaped flowers that make this shrub so beautiful and in demand by gardeners.
It goes well with Azaleas and Rhododendrons and prefers cool moist sites in dappled shade. It's really slow growing, but will still flower when young.
